Basketball Date and Water Fun in Mi Rae’s Choice

It looks like Yoon Eun Hye‘s Mi Rae and Lee Dong Gun‘s Kim Shin will have more bonding time in the upcoming episodes of Mi Rae’s Choice (Marry Him If You Dare). Newly released stills show the two enjoying a game of basketball together, while another scene pictures Mi Rae and Shin getting drenched by water from sprinklers, although neither look too distressed while they’re in the other’s company. Water continues to be a running theme in Mi Rae’s Choice; it is an element that appears to be intricately connected to romantic developments between the characters, which have been as temptestuous and dynamic as water itself. If this stays true to form, perhaps we can anticipate some water-related adventures for Se Joo (Jung Yong Hwa) and Yoo Kyung (Han Chae Ah) as well?

Spoilerific details for those who haven’t seen the Episode 5 preview (highlight to read):
This basketball date will either herald a (temporary) parting for Mi Rae and Shin or push the romantic developments between them further; the preview of Episode 5 showed Mi Rae gleefully celebrating her win and Shin offering to treat her to farewell drinks. His character will be sent away as a correspondent by Miranda (and this is almost certainly not as glorious as it sounds, considering Shin’s public defiance of Miranda at the end of Episode 4).

Se Joo and Mi Rae fans should not despair yet, however, because there have been fan sightings of Yong Hwa and Eun Hye filming at an amusement park (SeoulLand) as well as a bar at Hakdong. The fact that the two were spotted together at the amusement park bodes well for Se Joo’s chances in the Bus Farewell scene. The exact circumstances are yet unclear for the bar scene, but more Se Joo is always a good thing, right?

The “Moonlight Basketball date” will be seen in Episode 5, while their “Water date” appears in Episode 6 of Mi Rae’s Choice. You can catch the two episodes on KBS2 on Monday October 28th and 29th.
