EXO Chen to Sing OST Track for SBS Drama It’s Okay, It’s Love

EXO’s lead vocalist Chen will be lending his voice to the OST of upcoming SBS drama It’s Okay, It’s Love in support of his fellow bandmate, D.O, who will play a supporting role as aspiring writer and high school student Han Kang Woo. This will be Chen’s first ever solo track and is highly anticipated following his participation earlier this year in S.M. THE BALLAD’s second album, “Breath,” where he sang three duets: the Chinese version of the title song with Zhang Li Yin, as well as two other duets with SHINee’s Jonghyun and f(x)’s Krystal.

I don’t even have words to describe JUST HOW EXCITED I am at this news; I’ve only been waiting for this announcement since… I don’t know, the dawn of time? Chen has such a stunning, soaring voice that it’s almost a crime that he hasn’t had a chance to show it off solo after he left everyone speechless with his subunit/duet efforts in Miracles in December, Breath and Immortal Song 2.

Please, please be amazing, OST!

It’s Okay, It’s Love is the newest drama from Kyu Kyu Tae and Noh Hee Kyung, the acclaimed PD-writer team behind The World They Lived In and That Winter, the Wind Blows. It’s described as a romantic melodrama about a mystery novel-writer and radio DJ (Jo In Sung) who suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder and his developing relationship with the heroine (Gong Hyo Jin), a first year fellow in psychiatry.

Chen’s OST track will reportedly be heard on the premiere episode of It’s Okay, It’s Love on July 23rd.
