JYP’s multinational kpop group GOT7 are gearing up for their second Korean comeback of the year. Their new song will be titled “Mad” and the two released teaser images shows us that the boys are going for a more serious and manly concept than their last song “Just Right“, which recently celebrated 20 million YouTube views since its release back in July.
The new track is the first title track of the boys not to be written or composed by company CEO Park Jin Young, the song will instead be done by producing team Black Eyed Pilseung. The team consists of Choi Kyu Sung and Rado and are the brains behind SISTAR‘s popular hit “Touch My Body” as well as other songs such as Teen Top‘s “Ah Ah” and Miss A‘s “Only You“. Rado has also previously worked on 4Minute‘s “Volume Up” and A-Pink‘s “Hush” whilst Choi Kyu Sung has worked on HyunA‘s hit song “Bubble Pop” and Beast‘s “Fiction“.
GOT7 will hold their comeback showcase on the 29th of September in Gangnam at 8pm KST. Prior to the release of “Mad” the boys will also do a countdown on Naver’s “V” app on the 28th of September at 11:30pm KST.
